GOSPEL THIEVES is a story dealing with how we can misinterpret the Word of God, attempt to steal God's Glory and try to work our way into Heaven. The main characters include Detective George (he says the Lord has called him to be a "Detective of the Word"). He is well versed in the Word and takes on the church in the real view of the Bible. There is Chima Jean who is trying to work her way in to heaven, Gabriel who has strayed away and comes back with her challenging children, Leonard who is a "political correct Christian", Mother Gertrude who belives in Santa Claus, Mother Milmine who sees everything her way, Brother Milmine who is a newly reformed "hen peck husband", and Pastor Reed who continually attempts to feed his sheep.This production is realistic, funny and should compel us to learn more of what we think we know about the Bible.
It is a "Denomination-Breaking Gathering of Unity" from the directors, actors, the musicians to those helping behind the stage for the message in this production. God has blessed this production overflowingly and the best is still yet to come.
